One of the best parts of choosing a Bengal kitten is the coat. Bengals are the only domestic breed with true rosettes, and many have a glittery sheen that catches the light. Here are the colors and patterns we raise at Exotic Hybrid Kittens, with photos of our own cats.

Snow Bengals have a pale cream to ivory background with softer markings. There are three snow colors:
- Seal lynx point (snow lynx): the lightest snow, born almost white, with markings that develop over months and striking blue eyes.
- Seal mink: a warmer cream coat with visible markings and aqua or green eyes.
- Seal sepia: the darkest snow, with a tan background and gold or green eyes.
Snow lynx Bengal kittens are some of the most requested exotic kittens we raise. Their blue eyes and soft rosettes give them a real “baby snow leopard” look.
Silver Bengal Kittens
Silver Bengals have a white to silver-gray background with black or charcoal markings, and the best have crisp, high-contrast rosettes with no warm tarnish. Silver Bengal kittens are rarer than brown and are often the first to be reserved. Our stud Zorro carries the silver gene along with double charcoal.
Brown Bengal Kittens
Brown is the classic Bengal color, ranging from golden to deep orange-brown with dark spots or rosettes. It’s the look most people picture when they think of a “mini leopard.” Brown spotted Bengals often have the strongest glitter.
Charcoal Bengals
Charcoal isn’t a separate color but a modifier that adds a darker face mask (the “Zorro mask”), a dark cape down the back and dramatic contrast. It can appear on brown or silver Bengals. A cat with two copies of the gene is called double charcoal.
Bengal Patterns: Spotted, Rosetted and Double Rosette
- Spotted: solid spots scattered across the body.
- Rosetted: two-toned spots with a darker outline, like arrowhead, donut or paw-print rosettes.
- Double rosette: rosettes with a second layer of outline, the rarest and most leopard-like pattern.
- Marble: swirling, horizontal markings instead of spots.
